samarecarm:

ahhhaghhr terrible terrible painting! I just wanted to get something done before bed for Diana Wynne Jones. She had always been one of my favorite authors, and her stories stayed with me even when I outgrew all my other childhood loves. The first books of hers I bought were ‘Charmed Life’ and ‘The Lives of Christopher Chant’, and I ended up reading both in one night. That was also the first time I ever pulled an all-nighter and my mom yelled at me but it was all worth it. This is just my small tribute to this wonderful, magical lady who, cheesy as it sounds, changed my life. Rest in peace, Diana Wynne Jones!
